Latifa promotes the AI-generated promo of her song “Ya Layali” from the album “Mafeesh Mamno3”

Tunisian artist Latifa has unveiled the first glimpses of her new music video “Ya Layali,” which has been created using artificial intelligence and is set to be released soon. The video showed stages of transforming Latifa’s image into a digital format for computer processing, alongside other characters, horses, and a falcon as elements appearing in the AI-enhanced video.

In the promo, Latifa appeared with an oriental look in the desert, and the video featured a castle reminiscent of mythical palaces. The song “Ya Layali” is written by Malak Adel, composed by Mohamed Hassan, arranged by Tameem, and directed by Walid Nassif. It is one of the tracks from Latifa’s new album “Mafeesh Mamno3,” which includes ten songs in Tunisian and Egyptian dialects.

Latifa announced the details of the “Mafeesh Mamno3” album during a press conference last month, revealing her preparations to release the full album on her official YouTube channel and all music platforms. The album includes a series of AI-generated music videos in collaboration with director Walid Nassif.

Prominent collaborators on the new album include composers Walid Saad, Mahmoud Anwar, Khaled Fattouh, Ahmed Baher, and Omar Al Masry. A surprise addition is star Kadim Al Sahir, who composed a song with lyrics by the late poet Abdul Wahab Muhammad. Other contributing poets include Samer Abu Taleb, Karim Hakim, Nader Abdullah, Moemen Salem, and Hossam Saeed. Directors Walid Nassif and Sherif Tarhini also collaborated on the project.
